The LISA gauge (Liverpool Implant Space Analysing) gauge is the brainchild of Chris Butterworth. It is a fully sterilisable titanium measuring gauge designed to accurately measure spaces before, during and after orthodontic treatment in preparation for prosthodontics rehabilitation. The LISA gauge can be used intra-orally or on study models in order to decide whether enough space has been created to facilitate the correct size of tooth/teeth to be replaced.
