Zygomatic Implants supporting facial prostheses really improve the quality of life for patients following rhinectomy. Here is a case from a group in Norway demonstrating the secondary placement of zygomatic and dental implants in order to retain a nasal prosthesis, here with the use of small magnet abutments. The complexity of undertaking this secondarily in our view with computerised planning and surgigide construction together with the delay in providing a retentive solution is the reason why our approach is always to place implants at the time of resective surgery.
